VAST Steel is hiring experienced, safety-focused Journeyman Iron Workers to erect and detail structural and miscellaneous steel for various projects.
Erect and detail structural and miscellaneous steel per plans, under the direction of field foreman
Safely rig, hoist, connect, bolt, plumb and weld steel components
Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, including PPE and fall protection
Collaborate with field supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
Carry out foreman instructions during all aspects of steel construction and metal decking installation

2+ years of ironworking experience (apprenticeship preferred)
Skilled in steel erection, detailing, rigging and welding
OSHA 10/30, welding, fall protection, rigging certifications preferred
Physically able to lift 50 lbs, adequately use ironworking tools and equipment, work at heights, and endure outdoor conditions
